Miami, FL, September 7, 2007– Mente Libre Music, an independent label based in Miami, FL, announced today the release of its first promotional mix tape “Back 2 Business”. The mix tape is a compilation CD that brings together local and national artists in one single project. The mix tape will be hosted by Jay Vega from the group formerly known as “Proyecto Vega”, who is launching his solo career with the first single “Sal Del Medio” featuring spanish hip hop legend MC Ceja. The mix tape is a representation of Miami’s urban latin movement and brings together artists like: Platano, Dainamite, MC Ceja, Los Fugitivos, Yeyo (The Dey), Taino, Los Primeros and many other local artists. It also has collaborations from national artists like: Big Deuce (TX), El Tanke (PR), Noztra (NY), Polaco (PR), Guero Loco, tracks from artist like Pitbull, Zion, De La Getto, Tego Calderon and an exclusive freestyle mix by DJ IOP.
The mix tape will be free for all urban latin music fans, and it will be use as a promotional tool in places such as Florida, New York, Texas, California and Puerto Rico. It will be given out in physical or digital form at music events, car shows, barbershops, urban clothing stores, internet, and a free copy with the purchase of two shirts at PerreoTshirts.com
