Reggae Legend Gregory Isaacs Dies

Jamaica ObserverMonday, October 25, 2010REGGAE singer Gregory Isaacs has died.The singer, 59, passed this morning after a long illness.He died in London.Earlier this year, Gregory Isaacs' road manager Copeland Forbes stated that his charge was, "in the UK doing some medical tests. As you all know, he had some problems with his legs from last year which resulted in cancellation of tours, and in the last 12 months he had a very hectic year travelling all over the globe doing performances".Isaacs has been a constant presence on the reggae music scene for some time. This is besides the side-effects one can incur from receiving the dose of the virus that is inside the actual vaccine.

After having dug to a depth of 20 meters last year, English
scientists found traces of copper wire dating back over 200
years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors
already had a telephone network 200 years ago.
Not to be outdone by the English, in the weeks that
followed, American scientists dug to a depth of 30 meters,
and shortly after, headlines in the newspapers read:
'American archaeologists have found traces of 300 year
old copper wire and have concluded that their ancestors
already had an advanced high-tech communications network a
hundred years earlier than the English.'
One week later, 'Newsday' Trinidad 's leading
newspaper, reported the following: 'After digging as
deep as 40 meters by The Light House in Port of Spain , Roger
Arnold Jacobs , a self taught archaeologist, reported that
he found absolutely nothing. Jacobs has therefore concluded
that 400 years ago Trinidad had already gone wireless'.

Ganja now Legal for Italian Rastas

In Italy a new ruling by the Supreme Court of Cassation has sided with the Rastafarian religion's treatment of marijuana as a sacred sacrament.
The news from Rome hit the streets Friday morning, as a case brought before appeal judges against a reggae musician sentenced to 16 months in prison by a lower court in Perugia , was overturned.
Virtually unheard of in Roman Catholic Italy, Rastafarians were presented to the court as a faith that allows its members to smoke even 10 grams of marijuana daily.
In the ruling the Court of Cassation stated, "Members of the Rastafari faith were entitled to have in possession 'abundant' amounts of marijuana since smoking is an integral part of their religion."
